The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge is hosting the induction ceremony for the first K-Kids club it has established in the Old Bridge school district. Fifty-one students from James A. McDivitt Elementary School will be inducted at the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge’s regular meeting October 25, 2011 in the municipal courtroom at town hall. The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.. Friends and family of the inductees are cordially invited.

Faculty Advisor for the Key Club, Felicia Hansen, shared some exciting news with the Kiwanians at a recent meeting. As of Oct. 13, 2009 she was pleased to announce the Key Club membership total at 145 students. The Kiwanis Club is proud of these willing participants and we anticipate a positive and successful year for all.
Old Bridge High School will be forming its first Key Club sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge in September 2009. 20 high school students have already signed up for the club. There will be a membership drive in September. For information contact Felicia Hansen,the faculty advisor, at Old Bridge High School.
Builder’s Club Induction Ceremony was on April 11, 2007 at the Carl Sandburg Middle School in Old Bridge, NJ. 73 students have joined the club. We plan to form a Key Club for the Old Bridge High School to start around October.
Congratulations to Marie Valo of Old Bridge for winning first prize in the 2012 Yankee Raffle Ticket fundraiser. Ms. Valo won four first class box seats with admission to Mohegan Sun Sports Bar and Audi Restaurant for the September 1 game against the Baltimore Orioles. Ms. Marilyn McMahon of Westfield was the second prize winner, earning two box seats to the Sept. 16 game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge raised $3,345 in this wonderful fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who participated for helping out the children of our communities through this fundraiser. Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge is always seeking ways and means to raise money to contribute to children’s charities. Thank you all!
Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey hosted the North Jersey President’s Reception at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, New Jersey. Kiwanis officers and their guests were delighted to be in attendance. The reception is the foundation’s way to thank all the organizations and donors who provide financial assistance to grant wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions
