Winner Selected for Yankee Ticket Raffle 2016

On August 23rd, The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge held its prize drawing for four free tickets in the Delta Suite skybox for the New York Yankees’ September 10th game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium. The lucky winner was Louie Georgetti of Florida, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y. Congratulations to Mr.Georgetti, who also earns free snacks, free parking and admission to the Audi Club and Mohegan Sun Bar as part of his prize. This fundraiser proved to be the most successful fundraiser our club has held and we would like to thank everyone who purchased chances. All proceeds goes towards various children’s charities. Thank you to all who made this fundraiser such a success.

Sandburg tableThe Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge hosted its main fundraiser of the year, Comedy Night 2016, on Saturday, April 16th. Comedian Mike Morse was the headliner of this comedy event, held at Old Bridge’s Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh. Adam Kerr also performed. The Kiwanis Club had over 40 prize baskets in its tricky tray event and also awarded a two night stay at the Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Guests enjoyed a fine, four-course meal as well as a 50-50 drawing and the comedy show.

Yankee Ticket Raffle Winner Named

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge held its raffle drawing for four seats in the Delta Skybox 360 suite at Yankee Stadium for the Yanks’ September 5th game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The drawing was held on August 25th in the Old Bridge courtroom and the winner was Elyse Constantin of Teaneck. In addition to the tickets, Mrs.Constantin will receive a free parking pass, complimentary light refreshments and admittance to the Audi Club and Mohegan Sun Bar. This raffle fundraiser proved to be very successful as the club brought in slightly more than $200 over last year’s total.

Comedy Night 2015 Fundraiser

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge held its main fundraiser of the year on Saturday, April 18 at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh hall in Old bridge. Comedy Night 2015, starring comedians Adam Kerr and Tom Caldora, was a sell-out and a complete success. Over 30 baskets were awarded during the tricky tray portion of the event and guest Jackie Interdonato won the 50/50 raffle of $359 and she happily donated $50 back to the club. Comedy Night Fundraiser Announced

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge will host its major fundraiser of the year, “Comedy Night 2015” on Saturday, April 18 at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh in Old Bridge. Professional comedians Adam Kerr and Tom Caldora will perform in addition to a hot buffet, tricky tray, 50/50 raffle and cash bar. Tickets are priced at $40. All proceeds go towards children’s charities such as Make-A-Wish Foundation and others. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets may contact us through this website or by phone at 732-407-3568. Old Bridge Little League Awards Plaque for Kiwanis Sponsorship

Old Bridge Little League President Brett Banner presented the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge with a plaque at the club’s August 12th meeting, honoring the club’s sponsorship of a little league team. The plaque held a picture of the little league sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge. The team had a very successful season, going undefeated until the playoffs.

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge’s Yankee Ticket Raffle came to a close at the club’s August 12th meeting with the selection of a winning ticket. The lucky winner of four tremendous seats in the Delta 360 Skybox Suite at Yankee Stadium for the September 6 game against the Kansas City Royals was East Brunswick’s Ms.Cindy Criss. Her winning ticket secured a prize of $1,425 in value that included a private entrance, private elevator, personal concierge service and free snacks and parking at the game. The Kiwanis fundraiser proved to be a success, raising $3,000 for the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge, which the club will now distribute to various children’s charities. The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge is holding its biggest and best Yankee Ticket Raffle yet for the 2014 season. A $5 ticket can buy you a chance to win four tickets in the Delta 360 Skybox Suite at Yankee Stadium for the September 6 game against the Kansas City Royals starting at 4:05 p.m. … The Skybox Suite is located right next to the announcers’ booth behind home plate and features free concierge service, free snacks and soda, a private entrance and elevator and free parking.

As for the game itself, the Yankees figure to be in the hunt for the American League pennant right down to the wire and since shortstop and captain Derek Jeter has announced his retirement after the season, this could be one of his last home games. (Who knows, if we get lucky, it could be Derek Jeter Day). Only one thousand tickets have been printed so this is a magnificent bargain and raffle tickets will go like hotcakes.

Roaring 20’s Gangland Mystery Fundraiser a Huge Success!!!

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge celebrated its “Roaring 20’s Gangland Mystery” Fundraiser on Saturday, April, 26, 2014 at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh in Old Bridge and the event proved to be a wonderful success. Nearly one hundred guests were on hand to participate in the interactive murder mystery set in “The Juice Joint” nightclub of the 20’s. Many went home with prizes awarded in the Tricky Tray portion of the event and a New York Giants’ football autographed by defensive star Antrel Rolle was auctioned off at the event.

Old Bridge resident Al Dellelba was the winner of the 50-50 drawing and guests who correctly identified the murderer in the play were rewarded with free tickets to a future play by the Main Street Players Theater Company in Sayreville. All proceeds from the night will be divided up by the Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge to benefit the children’s charities to which it donates.

Besides sponsoring five Kiwanis school clubs in the Old Bridge School District, Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge sponsors an Old Bridge Little League team and donates to charities like Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Old Bridge Food Bank, Camp Robin, St. Jude Hospital and others.

The Kiwanis Club of Old Bridge will hold its major fundraiser of the year on April 26 at the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh, a dinner mystery play entitled “The Roaring 20’s Gangland Mystery Murders.” The fundraiser will feature a hot buffet, tricky tray basket auction, fifty-fifty raffle, auction of an autographed football by New York Giants star Antrel Rolle and a cash bar. The dinner/mystery fundraiser will run from 7-11 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. at the Friendly Sons at 15 Oak Street in Old Bridge, just off Route 18. All proceeds go towards aiding children’s charities such as Camp Robin, The Old Bridge Food Bank, Make-A-Wish Foundation and others. Tickets can be purchased for $40 or two for $75. Advertising is also available in our souvenir ad journal for $100 for a full page, $50 per half page and $25 for a quarter page.
